Today we celebrate the birthday of Arturo Toscanini, born in 1867. He was an orchestra conductor whose name has become practically synonymous with orchestra conducting.

Yesterday church was the usual Palm Sunday celebration of Jesus joy-riding on a stolen donkey. We thought we almost had the preacher talked into riding a donkey up the aisle, but then he heard that the Ladies Guild was gonna refuse to haul out the donkey-manure, so he chickened out.

This morning it's sorta very lightly snowing, mostly melting on impact. Looks like it's gonna keep it up all day. I suppose that starting into Gordon the Garden is gonna hafta wait for tomorrow. Or maybe later, if the soil is still too soggy.

Happy Monday!
