Today we celebrate the birthday of Charlemagne, born in 742 AD. He's some dude we had to memorize stuff about in history class.

Yesterday appears to have come and gone without a whole lotta April Fooling. I think everybody's so much onto everybody else that we can't fool anybody any more.

And today looks like it's gonna be a great day. The heat pump service person and the extermination person are scheduled on the same day. That'll be fun to watch. Three of the four heat pump components (both compressors and the lower level indoor unit) are areas where the exterminator is gonna be spraying smelly stuff.
