Today we celebrate the birthday of Jimmy Rogers, born in 1924. He was a musician whose music I'm not familiar with.

Yesterday's big event was our ancient cat Fish Breath finally kicked the bucket late in the afternoon, just soon enough so there was just enough daylight left to go out and bury him.

So the good news is that we can stop putting down poopy pads wherever he goes. Our remaining cat War Goddess nicely uses the litter box. And we can call in a steam cleaner to deal with our mucked-up carpets.

And now I can do crossweird puzzles without a cat insisting on sitting on my lap. War Goddess occasionally sits on my lap but generally doesn't stay for long before she's up and about doing something else.

Today it looks like it's gonna be pouring down rain all day. Nothing much else is gonna happen, I hope.
