Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate a feast day in honor of Blessed Ralph Milner. He was executed in 1591 back in Merrye Olde Englande for reciting mystic incantations to the wrong make-believe sky fairy. Yesterday it got awful hot so I did my outdoor stuff in short jaunts. Nothing much else happened. A few days ago I discovered that there is actually an International Standard Wine Glass, so I mentioned it on Facebook, whereupon several Friends commented about what sorta wine glasses they like. One person even said they drink their wine out of a Mason jar. So, try this! Do a Google search on something like Mason Jar Wine Glass, Hillbilly Wine Glass, or Redneck Wine Glass. You'll find some! Yes, folks, they actually make replica Mason jars with stems for wine glasses! Well anyhow, today is, of course, the day some of us recite mystic incantations to our choice of make-believe sky fairy. And let's not forget to be thankful for the opportunity to choose your own sky fairy, and to choose a different day, if you like, to recite your mystic incantations. And oh by the way, if you'd rather believe in reality instead of sky fairies, just stay out of the way of those wackos who go around grandiosely trumpeting, "Freedom of religion does not mean freedom from religion!" Happy Mystic Incantations! OrneryPest |
