Today we stand utterly appalled at the convolutions that extreme fringe religion spastics go through to twist stuff that Jesus never said anything about into a justification for their hate-mongering doctrinary hogwash.

Yesterday church was not quite normal. The organist turned on the organ and it began emitting a horrible groan that sounded something like double-bass H-flat minor or some such note that does not exist in the normal musical alphabet. So we did all the hymns A-Capella.

Father B preached the sermon in 9 minutes and 1 second.

Then in the afternoon I did a buncha yard work in spite of how it got about as hot as a snake's butt in a wagon rut.

And then our upstairs heat pump (the newly installed super-efficient super-reliable one) appears to have failed, so I'll hafta call the repair place as soon as they open this morning.

The Wondrous Weather Website is predicting rain for today, along with enough heat to instantly boil off the rain on contact. Just the kinda weather the heat pump service tech isn't gonna enjoy working in.
