Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate the birthday of Richard Leveridge, born in 1670. He was a singer and music composer. Yesterday nothing happened. It was too hot for anything to happen. During my stroll to the post office about mid-afternoon it was so hot I don't see how anybody could do anything worth doing. But there was a team of utility workers inspecting the water and sewer system, and they were all decked out in full working attire including the standard Day Glow vests. I have no idea how they tolerated the heat. And it looks like today is gonna be even hotter. It's already up to 80 Foreign-Heats. That's about 27 Celsius or thereabouts for you folks in more advanced countries. Happy Fried-Day OrneryPest |
