Today we celebrate a feast day in honor of Saint Thomas of Villanueva. He's the patron saint of a few universities and several churches. Yesterday was a great morning but sorta rainy in the afternoon. Our son, having bought a house, is preparing to move into it. We've seen it, and it doesn't look like it's big enough to hold all the furniture we'd dearly love to give him. But he promises to stuff the place as full as he possibly can. His main move is planned for next weekend. One of the problems with inheriting stuff is that we've inherited furniture and junky stuff instead of money. Selling the stuff is lotsa trouble and won't bring much, but it's just barely good enough to not haul to the dump. Besides, the dump is now charging money and we didn't inherit enough money to dump all the stuff we've inherited. Oh well, we'll try to cajole our son into taking twice as much as he wants. And now it's off to our obligatory hour of pretending to hallucinate our mythical three-headed sky-zombie. Happy Hallucinating! OrneryPest |
