Today we celebrate the birthday of Johann Strauss II, born in 1825. He composed lotsa dance music, especially waltzes.

Yesterday nothing happened, thus enabling me to continue refilling my digestive system after Wednesday's fearsome assault.

While I was at it, I also did a bit of yard work on my huge 5/8 acre of wasteful excess, thinking fondly of my son in Baltimore, who just bought one of those inner city houses that's got almost no yard.

And it looks like nothing's gonna happen today, and there's more yard work to do, so I guess the day's quest has been suitably defined.
