Today we make fun of all jerks who base their tip to the waiter on some perceived trivia having nothing to do with the service. I have no idea how these customers knew whether their waiter was gay or straight, nor why they thought it was relevant.

Anyhow, yesterday was nice and peaceful.

A few days ago we received word that the electric company was gonna relocate some of the service lines in our community to underground, and I happened to notice, on my walk to the post office, that there were vast armies of electric company digging and wire-stringing equipments lined up outside of the fast-fooderies, the workers evidently doing lunch.

So I suppose that in a few days we'll be seeing lotsa dug-up places round and about the community.

And it looks like nothing's gonna happen today.
