Today we celebrate the birthday of Hasan al-Askari, born in 846. He was some sorta Arab leader.

Yesterday nothing happened. I loved every minute of it.

Today it's gonna rain a whole bunch. This evening is gonna be the first evening of our Solomons Annual Christmas Walk. They're gonna set out candles along all the walkways so the rain can douse out the candles. Then they'll keep trying to re-light them.

Oh well, life is full of futile gestures.
