Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate a feast day in honor of Saint Mary Di Rosa. I can't find anything about who she's the patron saint of. It also appears to be the Third Sunday In Advent, so we'll use purple altar covers and light three candles on the Grandiose Advent Ring. Somebody once told me that all Catholic nuns hafta change their name to Sister Mary. I can think of some nuns who apparently didn't. Any Catholics amongst my Worthy Readership? Can you inform me on this earthshaking issue? Like, is it maybe true for some orders of nuns but not others? Oh well, you'd think that living half a block from a Catholic convent would give me an easy way to find out, but I never see them out and about. Maybe they all read this diary and go out of their way to avoid me. Anyhow, it's Sunday, the day we spend our obligatory hour hallucinating about our imaginary three-headed sky-zombie. Then in the afternoon it looks like probably nothing is likely to happen. Happy Hallucinating! OrneryPest |
