Today we celebrate the birthday of Philipp Dulichius, born in 1562. He was a cantor, music professor, and composer.

Yesterday nothing happened.

A rumor is afoot round and about our fair isle that the electric company is gonna put a buncha their wires underground some time this month. The rumor comes from two identifiable sources: First, the tron company itself, in the little promotional blurb that comes with our tron bill every month. Second, the would-be sidewalk installers, who allege themselves to be trying to coordinate their schedule with the tron company so as to dig up the world only once instead of twice.

So here it is past the middle of the month, and no digging is in sight. So I'm not gonna believe even "reliable sources" until I see it happen.

Well anyhow, I suppose nothing's gonna happen today.
