Today we celebrate a feast day in honor of Saint Aileran. I can't find what he's the patron saint of. His name sounds sorta like some kinda airplane part, so maybe we could make him the patron saint of airplane parts.

Anyhow, nothing happened yesterday, so I dug a few Jerusalem Artichokes. That's one plant I wish I could get to grow upside down. In the first place, then I could pick them instead of dig them, and in the second place, the roots are better looking than the uppers.

Today it's gonna rain all day. Good! That way, all our mystic incantations will be nice and well hydrated by the time they get through the atmosphere up to God. Maybe they'll work better that way. They've never worked before.
