Today we celebrate the birthday of Jakob Balde, born in 1604. He was a poet and professor of rhetoric.

Yesterday nothing happened until evening when it got awful cold.

Today we're gonna do a funeral for a woman who has been an active contributor to our church fellowship since forever. Not to mention she's been an active contributor to our membership. I think at least half of our church members are her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and all of their spouses.

Since it's a Body Not Present funeral, with no outdoor graveside service at the end, the cold weather probably will not be a problem.
