Oh by the way, folks,
Today we celebrate the birthday of Mark Antony, born in 83 BC. He was an ancient Roman politician.
Sorry about no entry yesterday. Couldn't get into DiaryLand.
During the last few days our fair isle has been littered with copies of some nonsense hogwash containing a mishmash of phrases like "If Blood Red Moon" and "Oceans Rush Over Us" and "Human Race Destroyed" and "Venus Earth Collide Not Passover" and such like.
The name Peter J. Cojanis appears in a coupla places. Do a Google search on that name and it appears that police deptments in several communities are on the lookout for him.
The phone number 202-224-3121 also appears in one place. That's the US House of Representatives switchboard. No, I didn't call it. No need to annoy the operator, who, I'm sure, had nothing to do with preparing this idiotic leaflet.
Yesterday there were people in workman day-glo jackets swarming round and about, possibly in connection with putting electric company wires underground or building a new sidewalk, both of which are rumored to be gonna happen soon. I'm eager to watch it all happen.
Today it's gonna rain all day, so I suppose the workmen are gonna get their work sorta impeded. Oh well, they've probably got contingency plans, so there's nothing for me to worry about.
Happy Rainy Tuesday!
