Today we celebrate the birthday of Jan de Baen, born in 1633. He was an artist.

Yesterday the church pot luck dinner was 12 people. Neither preacher was there, so we had to resort to subterfuge to get a proper Grace said. Somehow or t'nother, God did not rain down fire and brimstone onto the place for our indiscretion.

The presento afterwards was about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder experienced by military people after they return from combat. The term "disorder" is a misnomer, because what they experience is not a disorder at all, it's a normal reaction. We oughta worry about somebody if they didn't act like that after returning from combat.

Anyhow, upon signing onto Facebook this morning, I see that the new Lighthouse Restaurant is announcing their opening date to be next Monday, February 24. It'll probably be a coupla weeks or so before we get a chance to try the place out.

And it looks like nothing's gonna happen today.
