Today we wish a fond Happy Birthday to Spike Lee, born in 1957. He's a movie director who's popular in crossweird puzzles.

Yesterday nothing happened. It sorta more or less halfway rained all day, keeping everything just a bit too soggy for anything to happen.

Needless to say, the underground electric service installers and the sidewalk installers haven't started yet. But I saw a bit of work getting done on the electric company's new Reliability Loop, as they're calling it. But that's on tall poles, so the soggy ground isn't bothering them, and the workers were all wearing rain suits.

And so today it looks like nothing's gonna happen.
