Oh by the way, folks,
Today we celebrate the birthday of Jim Thorpe, born in 1888. He was a general-purpose all-around athlete.
Yesterday's quest was a success. Old screens are now down off of the front porch. Gotta be the world's dirtiest dustiest smelliest job.
While I was out there working, three huge trucks fulla building materials (different occasions, different companies) rolled up and the drivers asked if my place was where they were supposed to deliver their stuff. Nope, sorry, didn't order anything.
Today's quest will be to deal with the trash. It'll probably rain most of the day, but that'll be no problem.
With luck, there might be a bit of time left in the day to look into possible fixes for the structural problem I know about, and to examine the structure for other problems.
Since today is Wednesday, the longest day of the week, the only day that's nine letters long, there oughta be plenty of time to get a whole buncha stuff done.
