Today we celebrate the existence of Lutetium, atomic element 71. That's because today I turn 71. That means I'm now in my prime, because 71 is a prime number.

Yesterday I went down to mow the lawn at St Peters Chapel, which I normally do on Thursday except that it had been raining. I had noticed last Sunday that there was a buncha twigs and branches blown into the lawn so I came prepared to deal with them.

So when I got there I discovered some of them were already gone and the rest were chopped up. While I was mowing the lawn, another couple of church members, A.M. and his wife B.M. came by with a pickup truck and said they wanted some of them for artistic purposes.

So they took what they wanted while I finished mowing the lawn, then they said that another church member, J.S., had offered to take the rest. So I loaded what I could into Nelson the Nissan and took them away.

Next Thursday when I mow again, I'll be prepared to take the rest if J.S. hasn't got them yet.

Then I drove up to False Value Hardware and bought the screens for my front porch, and bought an Arrow stapler which can use the Ace Hardware staples I bought several years ago. I'll use the Markwell stapler to finish using up the rest of my Markwell staples, then I'll put the Markwell stapler away and finish the job with the Arrow stapler which can use any of at least 32 brands of staples.

So the lesson, you see, is don't buy a Markwell stapler, because it uses only Markwell staples which nobody sells any more. I don't even know if they even make Markwell staplers any more.

So today the Wondrous Weather Website is gnosticating a great day to staple up screens.
