Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate the birthday of Edward Elgar, born in 1857. He was a music composer who's popular in crossweird puzzles. Yesterday church, as usual, probably bored God to tears. Father S, true to his promise of short sermons, preached the sermon in 4 minutes and 7 seconds. Then I went a-questing for the trim strips I need for my front porch. The first place I went to was a pay-before-load place, so I paid up front and drove around back to load. They didn't have any. So I had to go back up front and un-pay. They were pretty nice about refunding my payment, but it was still sort of a pain. The second place I went to was grocery-store-style service. Load up your cart and take it up front to pay. They had what I wanted. So today's quest is gonna be to nail it up. Happy Nailing! OrneryPest |
