Today we celebrate the birthday of Dean Martin, born in 1917. He was an entertainer with a wide range of entertainment talents.

Yesterday's quest was a total success. I finished my front porch screen door and got it hung.

The tron company appears to have progressed another 20 or 25 yards in putting in the underground service. At this rate it'll be late July or early August when they get to in front of my place.

And so today's quest will be scraping paint in preparation for repainting my front porch. That's always the most depressing part of any home repair project. It always feels like a step backwards.
