Today we celebrate the birthday of Charles Gounod, born in 1818. He was a music composer. Among other things, he wrote Funeral March of a Marionette, which was used as Alfred Hitchcock's theme song.

Yesterday was a success. Front porch is painted. Two remaining items left to do. Re-attach the water hose holder and put a spring on the screen door.

Maybe I'll spend the day just lolling around before getting back onto chopping up my huge pile of branches from the hailstorm we had a few weeks ago.

Happy Tuesday!
