Today we celebrate the birthday of Rudy Vallee, born in 1901. He was a pop singer with a generously long active career. Yesterday church was the usual crashing bore, but then you expected me to say that, didn't you? Then in the afternoon I went a-questing over to the new Bed Bath & Beyond store in the Wild Weeds shopping center. It's pretty much similar to other Bed Bath & Beyond stores in other shopping centers. Yawn. I didn't find anything particularly exciting so I didn't buy anything. Today looks like it's gonna be a great day. I think the tron undergrounders might get as far as maybe not quite to my place today. Anyhow, their Planner And Estimator is gonna drop by this evening to have us sign the easement for putting up the street light. I had thought there was already an easement for stuff like that written into the zoning code, but apparently it covers only servicing existing utility stuff, not installing new stuff. Anyhow, I think a bit of my lawn needs mowing, which I better get onto before I start getting visits from big game hunters wanting to go on a jungle safari. Happy Jungle Safari! OrneryPest |
