Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate the baptism day of Barbara Strozzi, baptized in 1619. She was a singer and music composer. We know her baptism day but not her birthday because in her social crowd you weren't considered a person yet until you were baptized. That's a far cry from certain social crowds of today when you're considered a person nine months before you're even born. Yesterday nothing happened, thus enabling me to chop up a buncha twigs and do a buncha other yard work while watching the tron undergrounders undergrounding trons along the back street and the planners and estimators planning and estimating along the front street. I suppose they're gonna do some more of all that stuff today. Happy Wednesday! OrneryPest |
