Today we celebrate the birthday of Mata Hari, born in 1876. She was a belly dancer famous primarily for getting executed as a spy. Yesterday the tron undergrounders were busy on both the front and back streets. On the back street they dug a hole and then filled it back in. I do not know why. On the front street they fabricated a huge black tube about a foot in diameter and about 300 feet long by gluing together a buncha shorter pieces, then they left it lying alongside the road across the street. Maybe today I'll get to watch what they're gonna do with it next. And then this morning on my merry way from the bedroom to the kitchen to get the coffee started, I walked past the cuckoo clock reminding myself to wind the cuckoo clock, and then forgot to wind the cuckoo clock. Dearie me, it looks like my son who recently got his PhD in Public Health studying mental health difficulties of the elderly has got a study subject close at hand!
