Today we celebrate the birthday of Karl Bohm, born in 1894. He was an orchestra conductor.

Yesterday's quest was a success. New battery for Nelson the Nissan. Post office trip done. Our local hillbilly rag, The Calvert Recorder (known amongst the locals as The Calvert Distorter) came on time.

The Calvert Distorter had the expected article about the tron undergrounders snagging the gas line the second time. The contractor is gonna submit a plan for not snagging any more gas lines, and the plan is gonna include something about "addressing work crew staffing issues" which I think is Bureaucrapese for firing a few people.

And so today is starting out awful hot and humid with no rain in sight.
