Today we celebrate the birthday of Vlad the Impaler, born in 1431. He was the Wallachian prince known for his great dedication to the protection of the Romanian people and his extreme cruelty to the enemies of Romania. Yesterday's chiro-quack-quack knee-jerk, again as usual, accomplished nothing. I think the chiroquacker is beginning to give up on me. He has proclaimed that from this day henceforth he wants to give me only 2 knee-jerks a week instead of 3 knee-jerks a week. And then on my stroll to the post office I observed that the tron undergrounders were spreading straw on the dirt parts of what they were doing and running a street sweeper over the pavement parts. That looks like the last thing they do at any specific location. So it looks like they'll be undergrounding trons somewhere else next week. Maybe in front of my place, maybe not. The Dominion Gas pile driver played its rock-'n-roll music without the vocal accompaniment of the rent-a-hippies. I guess the rent-a-hippies are getting tired of protesting.
