Today we celebrate the birthday of James Garfield, born in 1831. He was our nation's 20'th president.

Yesterday it got awful cold. The tron undergrounders were joining conduit sections together, a process that involves lotsa heat. They were huddling around the conduit joiner instead of standing back from it the way they usually do.

Today it's awful cold again. It looks like nothing's gonna happen.

And we just got word that our new dishwasher is scheduled to get installed tomorrow afternoon.

So now we're waiting to see which of our aging appliances is gonna break next.
