Today we celebrate the birthday of Samuel Crompton, born in 1753. He invented the Spinning Mule but was unable to get a patent for it so he didn't make much money off of it.

Yesterday nothing happened except that it got nice and warm. Today is supposed to be another nice warm one.

And we're beginning to enter the Season Of Endless Parties. Much as I appreciate parties and celebrations, there's a limit. So I'm gonna hafta send regrets to most of the invites.
