Today we make fun of Walter Slonopas for storming off his job because his W-2 form had the sequential number 666. Good for him! I'm sure his employer will do well to replace him with a more sane and rational employee.

I'm not sure how many church denominations have a hymn numbered 666. Ours does. Our hymnal contains 720 hymns including 666, which is a tuneless dirge entitled "Out of the Depths I Call" and nobody likes it so we never sing it.

Yesterday we took Priscilla the Prius in for some recall service. Something about a steering system component that would wear rapidly if you yank the steering wheel suddenly while you were at a dead stop with the brakes locked up, which is something that knowledgeable drivers don't do anyhow because it tears the crap out of your front end components. Anyhow, it got done.

Today it's gonna rain all day. I suppose that probably not much else will happen.
