Today we squeal with delight and glee over the opportunity to buy a one-way ticket to Mars. I, myself, wouldn't be going, of course, but I know some folks I'd certainly like to send in my place!

Yesterday church was the usual crashing bore. I think even God musta slept through the service. Our choir song was one of these nice vigorous upbeat numbers except for that the bass part, as usual, was mostly too high for my vocal range.

And then in the afternoon we had a sorta Spring Fling Reception Party at the home of a couple of our church members. Their house is one of these colonial mansions, first built in about 1644 or thereabouts, and then kept getting added onto and added onto and added onto as the centuries went by. So now it's a huge gigantic royal palace.

Today it's raining. Indoor activities are, I suppose, appropriate for the occasion.
