Today we celebrate a feast day in honor of Saint Hilary of Arles. The article does not mention what he's the patron saint of. Maybe he's unemployed. That'd be a shame. So many other saints have got several jobs, you'd think they oughta spread the work around more equitably.

Yesterday's secular humanism meeting went nicely. It's a brand new chapter, still very small, not a big enough group to justify bringing in a real presenter, so we watched a video of A.C. Grayling giving a speech about how religion was all screwed up.

And today my pollen allergy (or whatever it is) is getting something awful, so I'm not gonna bother to join my fellow sky zombie hallucinators in their mystic incantations. No problem. I'm sure they know the Book Of Common Prayer by heart without my kind intercession. So I'll just stay home nursing my nonstop sneezing.
