Today we celebrate a feast day in honor of Saint Clare of Assisi. She invented an order of nuns known as the Poor Clares.

And now for a question that's arisen amongst some of our relatives. If you buy and old but newly renovated house that's got all carpeting but you'd rather have hardwood floors, should you go to the expense of changing it?

Personally I'd say no because I like carpeting better anyhow, and the expense and disruption of changing over would be enormous.

But basically my opinion is that I oughta keep my fat face out of the affairs of these relatives and let them blow their own big bucks.

Well anyhow, it rained a whole bunch yesterday but I got a whole buncha yard work done in between the heaviest parts of the rain.

Actually, in this season's heat it's rather pleasant working in light rain.

And so today it's gonna rain a whole bunch more, and every time I check the Wondrous Weather Website it's predicting a different exact time it'll be raining.

So I'll just hafta carry my Magic Brelly that stops it from raining as I go strolling down to the chapel to join my fellow True Believers as we pretend to hallucinate our Sky Fairy that we're trying to boss around by reciting mystic incantations at our own belly buttons.
