Today we celebrate the birthday of Abraham-Louis Breguet, born in 1747. He was a watchmaker and founder of a company that makes luxury watches.

I'm not sure why I'd wanna pay for a luxury watch. My $15 sports-timer watch (Jock Clock) keeps pretty decent time.

Yesterday nothing happened. In the evening we dined out at a place where the bartender didn't know how to do MrsPest's favorite drink so she had to re-instruct him. He finally got it right.

And it looks like nothing's gonna happen today. I might cruise over to False Value Hardware to see if they've got any sort of artistical wood-carving tools. The only ones I've got now are nothing but dinky playtoys that I paid 95 cents for the set of a dozen at a bargain bin a whole buncha years ago.
