Oh by the way, folks,
Today we celebrate the birthday of Woody Guthrie, born in 1912. He was a popular musician, and the father of the even more popular musician Arlo Guthrie.
Yesterday church was the usual crashing bore. Fortunately, in the afternoon there was a Southern Maryland Secular Humanist meeting, which was an aid to restoring a bit of sanity.
Then on the way home from the meeting I stopped in at Staples where they had my favorite style of 2015 pocket calendar booklet in stock. Only in maroon cover instead of my favorite black, but that's a trivial issue, so I bought one anyway.
Today looks like it's gonna get awful hot. Then it's gonna be pouring down rain all afternoon but the rain won't cool anything off. I suppose I better plan my Quest Of The Day accordingly.
