Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate the birthday of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, born in 1875. He was a music composer. Yesterday I went up to the parish hall to help set up the tables for a funeral reception luncheon that's gonna be today. 12 round tables for seating and 5 rectangular tables for serving. Same as usual. Yawn. The tron undergrounders undergrounded some trons across the street, but nothing on our side of the street. Our next-door neighbor mentioned that their Planner And Estimator was just now getting around to talk to him about the easements and waivers and releases and all that stuff the homeowners are being asked to sign. So apparently there aren't any greedy jerkwad neighbors hanging up the progress, there's just lollygaggy planners and estimators who are taking their sweet time getting ahold of people. Oh well, they've got their own schedule that's really none of my business. And so today it looks like nothing's gonna happen. Happy Friday! OrneryPest |
