Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate the birthday of Martin Luther, born in 1483. He's one of the most famous people in the history of Christianity. He was originally studying to become a lawyer until one day he was out riding his horse in a thunderstorm and got hit by lightning, which caused massive brain damage. Thus unfit to become a lawyer, he became a monk, one of the few professions open to severely mentally disabled people. Yesterday we put God to sleep with our boring church service, as usual. We had a guest preacher who preached the sermon in 10 minutes and 21 seconds. Then in the afternoon we went dishwasher shopping, having decided that our ancient dishwasher has become terminally failure-prone. We found a model we like, signed the deal, and shall now wait for delivery and installation. This morning it's awful foggy. Today I've got another chiro-quack-quack knee-jerk. Then I suppose nothing more is gonna happen. Happy Monday! OrneryPest |
